Selective Test Preparation

WEMT [Writing/ English (Reading)/ Mathematical Reasoning/ Thinking Skills]
Our WEMT classes for Years 4, 5, and 6 prioritize enhancing students' comprehension of Selective Test theory while fostering a supportive atmosphere where they can inspire, assist, and push one another.

With a maximum of 8 students per session, our small-group format ensures individualized instruction from our teachers within a nurturing learning environment.

This program will begin after the OC Test and continue until the Selective Test.

Thinking Skills

In this course, students encounter a mix of tricky questions that test their problem- solving and critical thinking skills. They learn how to apply what they know to identify and solve problems effectively. Plus, with critical thinking questions, they get better at following logical arguments, drawing conclusions, and judging assumptions and arguments.

Writing

Teaching efficient techniques to organize writing helps students think and reason better. When they learn to put ideas in a logical order and explain them clearly, they get better at thinking about information and making good arguments. This not only makes their writing better but also helps them understand and explain complicated ideas well.

English

This course focuses on improving reading skills and practicing comprehension. Also, it includes practicing questions about how language works, like grammar and word meanings.

Mathematics

In this course, you'll discover key math concepts, rules, and formulas for problem- solving. You'll receive plenty of structured practice questions. Additionally, you'll be grouped with peers at similar levels, enhancing collaborative learning.
